ABOUT THE NSC
The Northside Snowmobile Club is a non-profit organization that operates approximately 30 miles of snowmobile trails on leased land. Each year varies as to the number of miles due to changes in land ownership. The trails start in Pennfield Township at the northern edge of Battle Creek, Michigan and stretch north and west to Bedford and Mill Lake, Michigan.
We are a family oriented snowmobile club created for the purpose of promoting; the sport of snowmobiling, it's safety standards and regulation, as well as, maintaining a snowmobile trail in the Battle Creek area. Our club holds semi-annual membership meetings and monthly executive board meetings to this end.
Our work is funded solely by yearly membership revenue and the club receives no state funding. Subsequently, our trails are not groomed but are cleared and signed each year.
We do not only maintain a trail, but also sponsor snowmobile safety education classes, club social events and an annual snowmobile trip within Michigan each year.
The Northside Snowmobile Club is a member of the Michigan Snowmobile Association.
